Sarah’s years of study (Anthropology, History and a subsequent Masters in Film) are a far cry from the wine industry but, throughout those years, Sarah often supported herself through hospitality work, developing a keen interest in all things wine related. This interest led her to explore many of Australia’s wine regions, and those abroad where possible.
In the end, the lure of fine wine won her over. Sarah spent three years managing an independent bottle shop in inner city Brisbane. It was here that Sarah truly explored her passion for wine, established her marketing skills, and learned the value of customer relationships.
Sarah joined the Wineaway team in September 2016, managing consumer retail and marketing, while also overseeing the financial and event planning side of the business.
Sarah is studying Italian, has a weakness for Nebbiolo, and is rather enamoured with McLaren Vale.
