Tasting Notes

Located in Decize-les-Maranges on the highest altitude of the town, this single vineyard represents the very end of the Southern end of the Côte de Beaune. The vines were planted in 1960.

A wine full of charm; bright ruby in colour and a nose rich with aromas of red fruits. Raspberry, red currants and wild strawberry. On the palate the wine has wonderful freshness and delicacy with elegant tannins. Organic agriculture, handpicked with strict parcel selection in the vineyard and the winery. Fermented in stainless steel with 80% whole bunch for 15 days with gentle extraction - no punching down, pumping over twice a day. 15 months in Burgundy oak, 10% new. Bottled unfiltered. - Winery Note
