Tasting Notes

Situated just North of Nuits-Saint-Georges sitting at 320 metres elevation and facing East to South/East. Vosne-Romanée has darker soils made up from chalk and clay. Red darkening to garnet with a touch of crimson. Ripe fruit over spices with the presence of wild cherry, raspberry, bilberry, or blackcurrant. Leather and undergrowth. On the palate the wine is velvety and robust. It develops structure and fleshy texture while opening in the glass.

Sustainable agriculture. Handpicked with strict grape sorting in the vineyard and at the winery. 50 destemmed. Fermentation for 15 days in stainless steel tank, no pigeage, pumping over twice a day until the end of fermentation. 15 months in oak; 15% new barrel. Bottled unfiltered. - Winery Note
