Tasting Notes

(this and the grand crus are aging in all-new barriques Bright medium red. Perfumed, high-pitched nose combines raspberry, orange peel, flowers and white pepper. Supple, sweet and graceful, conveying an impression of energy and a light touch. This wine's medicinal reserve and slightly imploded texture, in conjunction with its vibrancy and finesse, suggest it will benefit from five years of cellaring. By then, it should also absorb some of its firm, oak-driven tannins.
