Medium to full red/purple colour, with a bouquet of earth, raisin, spices and licorice. The wine is rich and concentrated, full-bodied and powerful, with finer, softer tannins and very appealing fleshiness. A very impressive wine of great power and depth, but also the texture to be quite approachable early. Drink 2020 to 2040. – 96pts, Huon Hooke
