Classic HB with smoke, gravel, black raspberry and a whiff of licorice. It's fresh and crisp and the balance and flow throughout is just superb. There's good fruit, savoury earthy interest and a lovely malty sort of taste. Just medium bodied yet no lack of depth or power. The finish exceedingly long.  A wine of composure and grace. Beautiful Bordeaux.
