Tasting Notes

The 2018 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru has turned out well, displaying aromas of cassis, plums, smoked meats, dark soils tones, espresso roast and peonies. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, muscular but elegant, with succulent acids and powdery tannins, capturing the power of which this site is capable but rendering it with refinement. The finish is long and perfumed. William Kelley - Wine Advocate
