Tasting Notes

The 2011 Vosne-Romanée Village has a pleasant strawberry-scented nose like last time, though here there is a more herbaceous character beginning to show its presence, perhaps more tertiary than before (a character of the growing season than any winemaking.) The palate is medium-bodied and finely balanced with silky tannin, leading to a poised, quite sorbet-like finish. Delightful. Tasted June 2015. Neal Martin
