Tasting Notes

Mortet said this was harvested at 14.15% yet the elegance and refinement don't suffer at all though there is noticeable finishing warmth. Still, the racy acidity keeps the rich flavors balanced and adds detail to the elegant, intense violet-suffused aromas. This is quite powerful for a Chambolle with fine length and it only suffers in comparison to the incredible purity of the Lavaut. Tasted January 2004. Allen Meadows - Burghound
