Tasting Notes

♥ OUTSTANDING - BURGHOUND | Produced from seven small parcels in four vineyards (Petite Chapelle, Cherbaudes, Bel Air, and Champonnets), whose average vine age is 60 years old, the 2002 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru boasts a gorgeous nose of spicy red and black cherries. Medium-bodied, satin-textured, and seamless, it is crammed with detailed red berry flavors. Elegant, precise, and fresh, this beautifully ripe wine has outstanding concentration, harmony, and length. Tasted June 2004. Pierre Rovani - Wine Advocate
