An extraordinarily fresh nose of black fruit and violet notes with undertones of vegetation and Gevrey earth gives way to delicious, complex and suave medium full flavors that offer solid concentration and a velvety, sweet and mouth coating finish. There is a touch of warmth but this is at its core an elegant wine built more on finesse than power. Allen Meadows
