In somewhat stark contrast to the preceding wines, this is still quite raw with secondary fermentation aromas detracting mildly from the otherwise ripe and still extremely primary red and black berry fruit notes. The flavors though are quite fine with obvious minerality and a detailed, smooth and complex backend that just explodes. This is a sophisticated effort that is built on its minerality.
