Tasting Notes

♥ SWEET SPOT OUTSTANDING - BURGHOUND | This is aromatically more elegant but less ripe, undoubtedly due to the hail with pretty red berry fruit aromas that are strongly inflected by Gevrey earth notes that merge into admirably pure, precise and beautifully textured flavors that are at once explosive but sweet on the impressively long finish. This is a really stylish wine, especially for its level. Highly recommended as this is easily one of the best villages level wines of the vintage. Tasted January 2006. Allen Meadows - Burghound
