A reasonably fresh nose of very ripe red berries, earth and a hint of minerality leads to rich, round and solidly well-concentrated medium-bodied flavors that exude a fine dry extract that buffers the firm tannins on the delicious if ever-so-mildly-austere finish. This should be good though it will not necessarily be a good candidate for drinking young.
