Tasting Notes

The 2019 Echezeaux Grand Cru showed especially well from barrel, and it has realized all that potential in bottle. Wafting from the glass with aromas of red berries, cherries and plums mingled with exotic spices, peonies, blood orange and raw cocoa, it's full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with a broad attack and a deep, multidimensional core. Long and perfumed, it's as fine a young Echézeaux as I can remember tasting chez Dujac. William Kelley - Wine Advocate
