Dry leather, savoury bouquet, earthy and brick-dusty. The wine is very full-bodied and massively-structured with pointed tannins, and a very long, linear palate. A reserved wine at this stage, with some preserved cherry flavours emerging as it warmed in the glass. Big, big tannins which are very firm and drying. A dense, forceful wine, which needs time.
