A wonderfully spicy, warm and mildly exotic nose of black fruit, sandalwood and violet aromas complements the round, complex and supple flavors that merge into the dusty, sweet and impressively long finish. There is plenty of nervosité and I quite like the silky texture but the mid-palate density isn't quite as good here as either that of the Fuées or the Combe d'Orveau. Allen Meadows
