From four well known McLaren Vale vineyards, fermented and matured separately in 80% French and 20% American oak, (40% new). A full-bodied shiraz with more of everything, and doing it well. The flavours are savoury, but not the least green or sour, the powerful tannins likewise ripe. Not for everyone, the rest simply glad they can find it and buy it. - 95pts, James Halliday
