Pale colour leads into a beautifully fragrant aroma of dried wildflowers, flecked with spices. The wine is delicate and refined at the same time as it's intense and precise, the acidity superbly balanced and energising the palate without being obtrusive. Gently fruity but refreshingly dry at the finish. A delightful riesling in a more delicate cast. (11.5% alc.) Tasted September 2020. Huon Hooke
