Tasting Notes

Clones 114, 115 and 777 on the vineyard's main north-facing slope, whole berry open ferment taken to French oak (30% new) without any post-ferment maceration. These clones (especially 777) are early ripening, and the north-facing slope receives maximum sun. Into the bargain, the vintage was very warm and early, underlining the success of the Pimpernel team in producing a wine of this quality.
