Deep, earthy and almost Italianesque in its savory aura of aromas, this also turns up some dried rose petals. Liquorice, stony notes and dark dried plums, blackberries and succulent tannins are wrapped in elixir-like dark plums. Supple and rich with a long trail of polished tannins, this has a deeply lustrous shine. Limousine-like length and luxury feel. Fine now and will improve for 20+ years.
