Deep crimson; there is a lot to like in this wine, layered with pure red fruits, florals, fresh leather, fine spicy oak and some thyme thrown in for good measure; medium-bodied, the tannins are silky and refined, offsetting the pure fruit, and pulling the finish out to a stupendously long and generous conclusion; the essence of power and purity.
