Tasting Notes

Very deep purple/red colour, dense, and the aromas are floral and quite fragrant, with almost a suggestion of viognier or other white grape, although it surely has none. A big-boned, full-blooded red, with masses of firm tannins that coat the interior of the mouth and linger long throughout the aftertaste. A smashing shiraz blend with a generous quota of tannin, yet not unbalanced. A serious cellaring wine. - 96pts, Huon Hooke
