Tasting Notes

This is terrific, and distinctive. The Mataro adds depth, earthiness and hazelnut to the blend, the Shiraz has some spice and there’s a combination of fresh red and blue fruits, fresh mint, clean acidity, plush chestnutty tannin and flavour, and a trail of rosy perfume on the finish. It’s quite approachable now, though I think it will be great with cellaring too. See, you can have your Wendouree and eat it. Gary Walsh
